After knowing each other for nearly 10 years . . . being married for nearly six of them! . . . Eric and I FINALLY made it to our first Hokies football game together!
First, we tailgated with Team Silverthorn
Then, watched some crazy H-O-K-I-E-S HOKIES! action
And although the Hokies lost, we had an AWESOME time!
(not to mention, it was pretty cool attending the game as an alumna :-))
Indeed we were. Just a couple out of the more than 86k attendees at that game. It was amazing. I wish the game ended about 2 minutes sooner than it actually did, but otherwise it was a fantastic experience.
Were you guys at FedEx field?! Mom, Dad & I are going to Tech Saturday for the Tech/JMU game!

ReplyDeleteIt was such a blast; I told Eric that anytime the Hokies play up here at Fedex, we have to go -- it's non-negotiable!
