The good thing about having an office is having windows. The bad thing about having an office is having windows, when the weather is so gorgeous you just want to stare out them and daydream about being outside. Today's 70+, sunny spring day has me drooling over the prospect of playing tennis. Haven't done that in quite some time, and now that Cassy is getting a little bigger it will be easier to bring her along.
Speaking of which, I'm sad that Nadal gave up the Ericsson tournament win to Djokovich. Something about that guy rubs me the wrong way. I think it started with the fact that he used to bounce the ball like 50 times before serving, and then grew from there.
We got my sister a racket for her birthday, and my brother in law plays, also. As do M&C, so I feel like this season will be a season of doubles if nothing else! Added to the fact that one set of courts is lighted at night and the other is attached to the biggest park in Sterling, makes our prospects even greater. Plus M&C are within range now -- we dont' have to plan out a big date just to see each other. BONUS!
Chris and I tried to play tennis. We both got rackets and gave it a try. It turns out we suck. So the rackets are collecting dust in the closet.
