I'm going to try my best to just immediately post whatever pet peeve happens at the time it happens, because I always think to myself, I should really keep a list of these, and I never do.
#1 - Trying to cancel out of a webpage, only to have some "live agent" message box say "HEY WAIT! Don't leave yet, blah blah blah" . . . it's like, no really, I don't care what you have for me, I DON'T WANT TO BE ON THIS FREAKIN WEB PAGE ANY MORE!
And because of those live agent things, I seldom return to those pages, ever.
This reminds me of a pet peeve that I have about web pages. I hate when you google something, and then click on one of the links that comes up, and then when you realize that this page isn't what you want, you hit the back button to go back to the google search page to try a different link. But some pages won't let you go back. You can click the back button 50 times and you will never get back to google. You end up having to go back to your browser and either use the drop down or retype www.google.com to go back to google home page and start your search all over again. Argh!! That makes me so mad! How dare you think your website is so good that I couldn't possibly want to go back out of it? Seriously.
